• We do not have servers that store or process your financial information
• We technically cannot access your transactions, budgets, or financial details
• Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to use optional sync features

Data Storage and Processing

Local Storage

• Your financial data is stored in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB
• This data remains on your device and persists between sessions
• Clearing your browser cache or data will erase this information, so we recommend using our export feature for backups

Optional Google Drive Sync

• You can optionally sync your data using Google Drive
• Before syncing, your data is encrypted on your device
• The encryption keys remain on your device and are never transmitted to us
• Neither Google nor WiseCashAI can access your encrypted financial data
• We request minimal permissions from Google (file creation/editing for a specific app folder only)

AI Features and OpenRouter

WiseCashAI leverages artificial intelligence to provide financial insights while maintaining your privacy:

• You provide your own OpenRouter API key, which means:
  • You control and pay for your own AI usage
  • WiseCashAI never has access to your OpenRouter credentials
  • AI processing happens through your direct relationship with OpenRouter
• When using AI features:
  • Only the minimum necessary data is sent to OpenRouter for processing
  • The data is sent directly from your browser to OpenRouter
  • Results are returned directly to your browser
  • WiseCashAI never sees the data being sent or the results

Information We Collect

We've designed WiseCashAI to collect as little information as possible:

Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Email address (only if you contact support)
• Feedback or support requests you send us

Automatically Collected Information

• Basic anonymized analytics to understand site usage (page views, referring sites)
• We use privacy-focused analytics that don't track individuals across sites
• No personal identifiers or detailed usage data is collected
• No cookies are used for tracking or advertising purposes

How We Use Limited Collected Information

The minimal information we collect is used only for:

• Providing and maintaining our service
